By train

By JR Tokaido Shinkansen or Tokaido Main Line

Get off at Yui Station, then walk about 25 minutes east along the Old Tokaido. Or 5 minutes by taxi.

By Shinkansen (west-bound)

Get off at Shizuoka Station, change to the Tokaido Main Line (approx. 20 minutes) and get off at Yui Station.

By Shinkansen (east-bound)

Get off at Mishima Station, change to the Tokaido Main Line (approx. 40 minutes) and get off at Yui Station.
Or, get off at Shizuoka Station, change to the Tokaido Main Line (approx. 20 minutes) and get off at Yui Station.

By car

If coming from the west (Nagoya, Osaka, etc.)

Exit the Tomei Expressway at Shimizu Interchange and take National Route 1 (Seishin Bypass) towards Numazu and Fuji.
After about 10 km, turn left at the Terao intersection.
Take the right fork just before the pedestrian crossing 500 m ahead and go about 2 km along the Old Tokaido (Prefectural Route 370) to find Yui Honjin on your left.

If coming from the east (Yokohama, Tokyo, etc.)

Exit the Tomei Expressway at Fuji Interchange and take Prefectural Route 343 to Fujimi Odori road.
Go along Fujimi Odori for about 3 km, then take National Route 1 (Fuji Yui Bypass) towards Shizuoka and Shimizu.
Go along the bypass for about 9 km, then turn off right near Kanbara-Kanzawa (the road sign will say “Central Yui”). Cross the level crossing then turn left at the lights.
Take the left fork 100 m ahead and go about 750 m along the Old Tokaido (Prefectural Route 370) to find Yui Honjin on your right.
*It takes about 25 minutes from Fuji Interchange.

Parking

Free parking (capacity: 21 vehicles)

*There are two handicapped parking spaces beside the Museum.
*Free parking is also available along the Old Tokaido about 150 m towards Shizuoka from the entrance to Honjin Park (beside the Shimizu Bank).
